Found this nice article on browser compatibility while finding out what's the difference between .html and .html files. Was a good read. Browser Compatibility Tutorial
Oh and there's NO difference between .html and .htm files, except for the 'L' :P

nice! ... i know one other really good site some time can remember it at the moment, btw html vs. htm the only thing that anoys me is when some site used wrong links like a page is saved as html and linked as htm. I dont know for sure but i know the two notation might have started because of those systems that only supported three letter extensions.
Good point about some systems not supporting > 3 extension digits, didn't think about that ...
